Annual Leave
|
SHP’s levels of annual leave entitlements exceed statutory requirements. Our current enhanced rates begin with 22 days leave (+ bank holidays) pa through to 32 days leave (+ bank holidays) pa. Entitlement is based on length of service and/or personal grading.

Travel and Parking
|
All staff who are required to use their car for work purposes are compensated in accordance with the agreed car allowance rates.
|
|
Pension
|
SHP is an admitted body to the local government pension scheme. This is a final salary pension scheme of which employees contribute between 5.5% and 7.5% of salary (depending on income). The employers’ contribution is at least twice the employee’s contribution.

Employee Assistance Programme
|
A free employee assistance programme is available to all staff for confidential advice and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Staff Awards
|
Monthly, quarterly and annual staff awards provide financial and peer recognition for employees whose performance has been identified as going the extra mile.

Childcare Voucher Scheme
|
A tax beneficial childcare voucher scheme is available for all staff through salary deductions.
|

Cycle to Work Scheme
|
SHP is a member of the government’s cycle to work scheme. This enables staff to purchase bicycles and safety equipment through salary sacrifice with the ability to claim travel mileage if used for work purposes.

Credit Union
|
SHP is a member of the Croydon and Merton Credit Union and as such, all staff are entitled to become members.
