   Inter Faith

 

Inter Faith Week is designed to:  strengthen interfaith relations at all levels in our increasingly  diverse society encourage local faith groups and communities to form bonds and co-operate -for  example, on practical projects to improve the local area increase awareness of the different and  distinct faith communities in the UK, as well as increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs encourage the development of new partnerships between  local and faith    communities, with third sector  partners. 

 

Some of last year's events included faith sports, discussions and dialogues, inter faith walks and pilgrimages, festivals and celebrations, exhibitions and concerts and classroom activities in schools.
