The Friendly Club for the Blind -  The friendly club meets on a Wednesday afternoons once a fortnight at the Thomas Wall Centre and provides social contact and entertainment.  hankclaridge@tiscali.co.uk|

 The Gay Outdoor Club operates throughout Great Britian and provides a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports and recreational activities for gay lesbian, bisexual and transgender men and women organise over 500 events each year including walking, cycling, mountain biking canoeing,caving, rock climbing, mountaineering, skiing,swimming and badminton.  Most of our events are one day but we also organise weekend and longer events such as hostelling weekends, an arctic adventure and white water rafting expedition.  www.goc.org.uk/contact|

Oakleigh Day Centre - is a specialist Dementia day services providing activities and care seven days a weel/  The centre is situated on the first floor of the Councils residential home.  Meals are supplied by Oakleigh Care Centre Kitchen for which there is a small charge.  At Oakleigh Centre you will find a relaxed and safe setting with a structured programme of activity, including group activities to encourge social interaction. enjoyment, physical and mental stimulation.  Activities:arts and craft, cookery, computers, drama nd discussion games, excercises and gardening. www.housing21.co.uk|

RAD - The Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) promotes the welfare and interests of Deaf people (by which we mean deaf people who are first or preferred language is sign language).  RAD recognises that the Deaf BME (Black Minority Ethnic) Community experiences many barriers in life. Stonewall (charity) has formed partnerships with organisation outside Parliament to ensure the rights and needs of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals are addressed in the wider community.   Stonewall has also raised public awareness in terms of civil partnership, through our Get Hitched guide, and on the changes to the employment regulations relating to sexual orientation through guides for both employers and employees. www.stonewall.org.uk|
