Support for Residents' Associations

Residents’ Associations are vital in shaping the services Sutton Housing Partnership provides to residents in the London Borough of Sutton, and we think it is important that running an Association is made as simple as possible.

To help you do this we have produced a Guide to Running a Residents' Association|. This guide has been developed with resident representatives to help you run your Association in the easiest and most successful way.

We also recognise that resident involvement needs to be well resourced and supported.  We do this in many ways inlcuding;

  • Yearly grants to associations to help fund running costs;
  • Expenses for travel, child care and carer costs;
  • An annual special project grant for groups;
  • Advice and support to help groups access grants and funding on offer from various agencies;
  • Loan of equipment such as laminator, lap top computer and digital camera.

If you would like more information on running a Residents' Association, please contact the Neighbourhoods Team on Freephone 0800 195 5552, from your mobile on 020 8915 2000 or email us at customerinvolvement@suttonhousingpartnership.org.uk|
