The TPAS Awards 2010 - final call for entries Southern Region
TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) is calling individuals and organisations working in the social and affordable housing sector in the South to come forward and shout about the work that they have been doing by entering the TPAS Awards 2010. But hurry, the Southern region’s deadline is fast approaching with entries to be submitted by 5pm on Friday 5th March 2010 .
Now in its third year, the awards recognize and reward the outstanding contributions and achievements of Registered Social Landlord residents, tenant liaison officers and community groups across the sector as well as the contractors who work with them. Michelle Reid, TPAS Chief Executive and speaker at the awards believes that there has probably never been a more pertinent year to celebrate the exceptional work taking place across the industry. She comments:
“The impact that the economic downturn has had on the housing market has in turn left its impression on the social economy, construction industry and supply chain as a whole. Despite this, people from across the social and affordable housing sector have come together and worked harder than ever to deliver some fantastic results. These are the people that we want to hear from.”
Designed to connect people across the sector together, this year’s categories are as follows:
-
Tenant of the Year Award
-
Tenant/Resident Involvement Officer of the Year – Landlord
-
Tenant/Resident Involvement Officer of the Year – Contractor
-
