Working in Partnership with Sutton Leaseholders’ Association

There is a separate Sutton Leaseholders’ Association (SLA) to represent the interests of leaseholders of local-authority properties across the borough. All leaseholders and section 16 freeholders are automatically members of the association and there is no yearly fee. The SLA is also represented on the Sutton Federation of Tenant and Resident Associations Committee, as uniting with other associations strengthens the SLA’s position. The committee is elected at the annual general meeting (AGM) and all leaseholders will be told the date this will be held. The committee is then elected from those leaseholders who go to the AGM.
