Five Year Major Works Programme

It is important to note that the five year Major Works Programme is subject to Sutton Housing Partnership obtaining funding after the Audit Commission Inspection in October 2009. The programme itself may be subject to change and works brought forward or put back.

If your block includes block door works this may relate to communal doors and/or balcony doors. Works to wall surfaces include pointing/cladding or concrete works.

Costs are not available at this stage, however, we will of course consult with leaseholders and other residents as each project is planned. As a leaseholder, you will receive the required legal consultation notices and other information. Please click here| to download your copy of the five year Major Works Programme.

Consultation on draft programme, sinking funds and insurance arrangements

  • In March 2009, each leaseholder was sent a letter setting out what works were planned to their block and the financial year. It also asked for feedback about sinking funds and insurance arrangements.  Click here to download the letter.
  • Where no works were planned the leaseholder also received a letter so they to could comment on and influence the programme. Click here to download the letter.
  • Each leaseholder who provided individual feedback received a letter back and a copy leaseholder handbook and full draft five year programme where requested.

We then wrote back to all leaseholders to provide the results of the feedback we received . Click here| to see a copy of the Feedback document.

On 7th July we undertook a presentation at the Sutton Leaseholders Association AGM about the 2009 Leaseholder satisfaction Survey and the feedback we received following the consultation exercise. Please click here| to see the presentation.

Thank you for all leaseholders who provided feedback about the draft programme, sinking funds and insurance arrangements.

 It helped us to:

  • Provide better information to our leaseholder customers
  • Make changes to the programme following leaseholder requests for works
  • Change the layout of the draft programme
  • Discuss with leaseholders the greater and continued need to discuss works at a local level.
  • Confirm the arrangements for insurance  and not operating a sinking fund are sufficient

Please note - We still welcome your feedback
