It may still only be October, but Sutton Housing Partnership has launched a Christmas card design competition for all local children in the borough.
The competition is a first for the organisation, who have been providing the housing management service for Sutton since April 2006.
Sutton Housing Partnership is asking local children to express what Christmas means to them. All children living within the borough are invited to join in the competition, which is split into three age categories; 4-8, 9-12 and 13-16. Winners from each category will receive a prize and certificate.
The overall winning design will go forward to be produced as the official Christmas card for Sutton Housing Partnership.
Chief Executive Peter Dolan, said: “The competition is the first of it’s kind for the organisation. With the energy and imagination of Sutton’s young people we are hoping to see some really good designs that show what Christmas means to them, and for one lucky winner the chance to see their design used as our Christmas card that we can send out to our partners and stakeholders.”
Entries must be received by the 30th October 2006 and an exhibition of all the best designs will be displayed in the reception area Sutton Gate, the home of SHP, over the Christmas period.
Young people or schools wishing to take part can pick up an application form from our offices at Sutton Gate, 1 Carshalton Road, Sutton, SM1 4LE or you can download an application form below. Entries should be returned to the above address |
