This workshop looks at different ways for residents to be involved in their community at a level that best suits them. This is an opportunity to share your ideas and experiences and learn from those of others. This is a FREE training opportunity open for all Sutton Housing Partnership tenants and leaseholders. Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all attendees.
This course will introduce participants to the various opportunities available to become
involved in their community and while your involvement is worthwhile.
Course Overview:
Why do people get involved in their communities? What makes involvement worthwhile?
How can we develop the confidence to get involved? How can we build our own and others confidence?
How can we get involved and contribute?
Planning for change, both as individuals and within our community.
The day will provide plenty of opportunities to debate issues and to consider participants’
practical experiences. All course participants will receive a full training pack including a certificate of attendance.
Taking place at Sutton Gate (3rd Floor).
