Each year we ask residents to let us know their views on how we spend the money that we raise from rents and service charges. This year our task is being made even more difficult by the squeeze on Public Spending from the Government. SHP intends to continue to improve on the services we deliver and need your views on what is most important to you.
Last year 202 residents responded to our survey, giving us a much needed insight in to your priorities. The highest priority identifed by tenants was for repairs to be made to individual properties while leaseholders wished for improvements to caretaking and cleaning services. In response we increased the amount of money available for repairs by a further £100,000 and taken time to embed and improve the service being delivered through the Estate Services teams. Tenants thought that the second most important area we should address was that of Anti-Social Behaviour while leaseholders identified the decoration of internal communal areas. In 2010-2011 we have restructured the Neighbourhood Managers team to create a specialist ASB team and have maintained our programme of communal decorations.
We know there is still more to do to improve the condition of the property you live in but we have difficult choices to be made elsewhere.
To help us make these choices we would like to know what you think by clicking here| and printing off and completing the attached survey.
Please give us your responses before December 25th 2010.
