Sutton Housing Partnership is looking for three new Tenant Board Members to help us make decisions about how housing services are run.
Being a board member is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute towards the management of around 8,000 homes in the borough.
The role also offers an opportunity for you to develop your business skills and confidence through the training package we offer.
SHP is a company set up in 2006 to manage the council’s housing stock. As an independent company we have a group of local people who make up our Board. The board meet about nine times a year to direct and oversee how SHP is delivering housing services.
Board Members act as non-executive directors of Sutton Housing Partnership. Together they make key decisions about budgets, services, strategies and policies.
Although it is an unpaid role, being a Tenant Board Member is rewarding and vital to the smooth running of the company. We also offer expenses for things like travel and childcare costs.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a board member and the benefits it can bring, please contact Diane Richards, Governance and Communications Manager on freephone 0800 195 5552 or email: customercare@suttonhousingpartenrship.org.uk|.
