The vibrant Sutton Scill centre members were overjoyed to receive an addition to their social activity equipment from Apollo’s Resident Liaison Officer for Sutton Jan Knight and Sutton Housing Partnerships’ Community Development Officer Lynne Mitchell.
The Scill centre supports Sutton young people and Adults with physical and learning disabilities, delivering life skills such as healthy eating and cooking programs, computer lessons, Art classes, an active gym and a friendly safe place where people can meet friends and socialise.
When Apollo first visited the centre the service users and staff mentioned that they would like to have a Wii games system which would be good fun for their social days, making a change from darts and bowls while also being something active. Jan and Lynne presented some of the Scill centres members with their new Wii, a selection of games and equipment including two sets of boxing gloves!
