Sutton Council is appealing for residents to nominate those special people we all know, who make the borough a better place to live.
The Community Leadership Awards aim to recognise people who have a sense of community and have made a real difference to Sutton.
There are five different categories which are open for nominations, with the eventual winners standing to receive up to £100.
The five award categories locals can be nominated for are:
Improving People’s Lives
Making Sutton Safer
Making Sutton Greener
Helping Sutton do more with less
Serving Sutton’s people
Cllr Ruth Dombey, Deputy Leader of Sutton Council, said: “There are scores of people who go that extra mile to make Sutton a great place to live. We want to honour the truly exceptional people in this group whose contribution really makes a difference to the lives of residents.
“If you know anyone who fits this bill, please put their name forward so they can get the recognition they deserve.”
Nominations close on 31 October and an awards ceremony will take place at the Sutton Life Centre in December.
