The 20th Carshalton Environmental Fair will be held in Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, Carshalton on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August (Bank Holiday Monday) from 10.30am to 8.00pm.
This very popular event attracts thousands of visitors every year. The event is run by EcoLocal, a Carshalton based charity, with a group of dedicated volunteers. On the day of the fair over 50 volunteers help with stewarding and other activities such as stall holder marshalling, back stage, control point, litter picking and more.
“Our stewards really enjoy being part of a team on the day” said Tansy Wenham-Prosser, steward co-ordinator, “If you would like to help at the fair we will give you free entry, refreshments and free lunch if you do over 2 hours. The event wouldn’t be possible without volunteers!“
