TWEP Book Prize

The Women's Empowerment Project (TWEP), is a Sutton based charity that works to create opportunities for African women and girls, to realise their full potential as confident, independent and skilled individuals.

TWEP are currently running a writing competition for unpublished writers and are seeking stories that portray the life and experiences of a typical African girl.  They are also interested in illustrators who can produce an image to the same theme that will be used as the book cover. The target audience are 8 - 17 year olds.
