Courses were held at SHP’s offices at Sutton Gate, where trainees had the opportunity to try out their new skills by decorating the organisations board room in a soft yellow.
Community Development Officer for SHP Lynne Mitchell said: “By working jointly with L & Q we can pool resources and offer a wider range of courses to our younger residents”.
Sheryl Martin, L&Q’s Neighbourhood Investment Officer added: “With university costs soaring, more and more young people are looking for on the job training and apprenticeships. ‘Go for it’ gives younger residents the chance to try out different careers and impress potential employers with their skills and enthusiasm”
