Free Track Training at Sutton Arena Every Monday!


At Sutton Arena every Monday there is chance to be coached by a renowned athlete in field and track events. This Met-Track training is aimed at 10-17 year olds with ANY sporting ability and is completely FREE!

Met-Track is a London based charity that provides free track and field training to teenagers. The programme at Sutton provides 90 minute sessions at Sutton Arena, 6-7.30pm on Mondays. 

The Coach, Jonathan Barbour is a former European under-23 100 metres champion with a PB of 10.13 for 100 metres. He coaches sprints, relays, long jump, high jump, pole vault and as a qualified football coach he brings in football elements into his work. Jonathan uses both the indoor facilities and the outdoor track at Sutton Arena to train on.  

Just turn up with a pair of trainers and sports clothing to suit the weather and you'll be given a warm Met-Track welcome!
