Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) Resident's event a success

Sutton Housing Partnership special event for our Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) residents, held at Sutton’s Salvation Army Main Hall on Wednesday 3 June was a real success. Residents came along and had their say about housing issues that affected them and their community. The informal event gave everyone the chance to talk about what was important to them, get involved in decision making, have some fun and meet other residents. Ms Subramaniam from Elizabeth House Sheltered scheme was the lucky winner of our free £50 Prize Draw.

A huge thank you to all our residents and our partners, Sutton Racial Equality Council (SREC), Sutton Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF), SCILL Information Service and ‘Active Steps’ from the Primary Care Trust who came along and made the day so enjoyable.
