The St Helier Festival held at the green in Middleton Road and at the green opposite St Helier Hospital on Saturday 13th June was a massive No 1 for Big Top fun. The fantastic community event, organised and supported by Sutton Housing Partnership, Sutton Federation of Tenant and Resident Associations (SFTRA) and the London Borough of Sutton, was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
Most of the activities were free of charge and residents got the chance to enjoy the Big Top Circus, loads of Circus workshops for the kids, food from around the world, the Kickz project, Martial Arts demonstrations, bike displays, live bands, cheerleaders, dancers, community stalls and all accompanied throughout the day by Radio Jackie .
