How does it work?
You must first register with Homeswapper by logging on to their website. www.homeswapper.co.uk|
Homeswapper will search for possible new swaps for you every day. It saves these matches and you can log on at anytime to view them. You can also arrange to be sent 'match alerts' by email or by text message to your mobile phone.
Please note: you will be responsible for making arrangements to view the proposed property.
How long does it take to process the mutual exchange?
On receipt of your completed mutual exchange request forms , Sutton Housing Partnership will inform you of its decision within 42 days.
The respective landlords of both tenants must authorise the exchange, or the exchange may be considered illegal, with both parties being required to return to their original homes.
Who can use HomeSwapper?
Homeswapper is free to all of Sutton Housing Partnerships tenants.
Are there any other ways of organising a mutual exchange?
Mutual Exchange within the local area only
If you are a Sutton Housing Partnership tenant and on the Housing Register you can advertise your property details at www.suttonhomechoice.org.uk|
Once your Homechoice Mutual Exchange application is approved you will be able to view property details from other tenants who wish to move within the loclal area.
