Sutton Council has been working with local organisations and residents to put forward plans to ensure a successful future for Sutton.
The "Sutton 2031" campaign is intended to raise awareness of three separate but inter-dependent planning documents that set out the Council's plans;
- The Local Plan,
- The Sutton Town Centre Masterplan, and
- The London Cancer Hub Development Framework.
The Masterplan identifies areas in the borough which could be developed to provide much needed new homes. The Council is also aware that there are opportunities to improve the surroundings on a number of Sutton Housing Partnership estates.
Over the next few years Sutton Council want to work with you to hear what you think and what the priorities should be for improving the quality of your local area.
It’s important to highlight that no decisions have been made regarding future changes on local estates.
The Council will be in contact with residents and stakeholders living in the identified areas and will make no decisions without their involvement.
Join in the conversation!
Sutton Council know how important it is to involve residents at the very start of the engagement process, as it helps them hear your concerns, consider your comments and feedback and provides a greater contribution to the shaping of potential future plans.
They'll be in contact with residents in due course but in the meantime should you need further information or advice, please see the Council's dedicated Sutton 2031 webpage or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
