Tree work in tenants gardens. Residents are responsible for maintaining shrubs and trees in their gardens. Sutton Housing Partnership do not routinely carry out maintenance work on trees. However, in circumstances where there are reports of an imminent threat to life, limb or property, the matter will be investigated by our Senior Estate Officer within 5 working days of receiving a report. Where the risk is assessed and found to require action, work will normally be carried out within 90 days of receiving the initial report.
From April 2006, the Communal Tree Programme will also include shrub replacement work where it is considered necessary and other small landscaping projects.
