Pursue a new IT career and meet our team
People Arise Now is offering residents who are interested in pursuing a professional career in IT and a globally recognised IT certification, free access to online courses.
The organisation, which is a CISCO Networking Academy partner, offers three courses aimed at people with a passion for cybersecurity.
Initially, they will offer a pathway to prepare residents for an entry-level cybersecurity role, via the following courses:
- Introduction to Cybersecurity (Exploratory course, self-paced)
- Cybersecurity Essentials (Foundational course, self-paced)
- CyberOps Associate (Certification ready, instructor-led)
If you are interested in finding out more come along to the Community Connect event, organised by People Arise Now, on Thursday 14 July from 10am-12pm at the Hill House Community Centre, Bishopsford Road SM4 6BL.
Our People and Place Lead, Clive Green, and our Communications and Resolutions Manager, Catriona Haywood, will also be available at the event to speak to you about any general housing or repair enquiries you may have.
