Statement on the one-year anniversary of the death of our colleague Terrence Cort
Steve Tucker, Managing Director of Sutton Housing Partnership said:
“This week marks the one-year anniversary of the sad passing of our SHP colleague, Terrence Cort. It is with a heavy heart we remember his legacy as a member of our Sutton Connect team but also as a colleague, friend and beloved member of the community in Sutton. We are in the process of arranging a plaque, which will go on the wall in the Sutton Connect offices in his memory.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with Terrence’s family and friends at this time of reflection and remembrance.
"It can be difficult to remember Terrence and other colleagues from across the local authority, who have passed away during the pandemic, when we are still living through some form of restrictions. I am hopeful that the way in which the community has come together over the past 13 months and the steps we are taking towards recovery will serve as a reminder and tribute to them all.
"Our deepest sympathy goes out to our residents and partners who may have also lost family and friends during the pandemic.
