Sutton residents invited to attend Job Fair in St Helier

find out about employment, training and volunteering opportunities at the Job Fair 2021

We are pleased to be working together with Community Action Sutton and partners to host a Job Fair that will be held at Hill House in Carshalton on Thursday 22 July.

Representatives from various employers, including Sutton Council, London Fire Brigade, Aldi, Veolia, and many more, will be available for jobseekers to speak to about potential employment opportunities.

Members of the community will be able to find out about training and apprenticeships from Sutton College as well as volunteering opportunities from Volunteer Centre Sutton.

There will be information about the government’s 16-24 Kickstart Scheme, a scheme designed to help young people who are at risk of long-term unemployment into employment.

There will also be information about the Work and Health Programme which is a programme that supports adults currently unemployed with a health condition or disability into employment.

Support will be available for anyone wanting to write or update their CV at the CV Clinic as well as a chance for people to brush up on their interview skills and learn new techniques.

The Job Fair will take place on Thursday 22 July from 10am to 1pm at Hill House, Bishopsford Road, Carshalton, Morden SM4 6BL.  There is no need to book as there will be plenty of space inside and out to ensure this event is COVID-19 safe.

If you have employment opportunities and would like to take part or would like more information, please contact sara@communityactionsutton.org.uk.
