Get a free app to tackle noise nuisance

We’re pleased to launch The Noise App at SHP - a new way for residents to record noise nuisance complaints.

It’s completely free and available to download on a smartphone.

How it works

The Noise App lets you to instantly record noise nuisance on your phone - creating an accurate record of the problem and how it affects you.

Once you’ve recorded your evidence you can send it directly to us so that we can investigate. You can keep a noise nuisance diary to help you track disturbances.

You can make as many recordings as you need to, and each can last for up to 30 seconds.

Please note: You will need a smartphone device to use this app. We recommend using a broadband connection to share recordings so it doesn’t use your mobile data allowance.

How to get it

The app can be downloaded on iPhone at the App Store, and on Android at the Google Play Store. Just search ‘The Noise App’.

Once you've downloaded the app, follow the steps to create an account and search for ‘Sutton Housing Partnership’ when asked for your Investigator / Housing Provider.

Using the app

Once you've created an account, the app is really simple to use.

It will guide you through making your first recording and sending it to us. If you need help you can download the Noise App User Guide [pdf 269KB].

The video below will walk you through how to set up and use the app.
