SHP begins new chapter in delivering repairs service to residents

On Thursday 31 March our contract with Mears ended, and we are now responsible for fully delivering an in-house repairs service across our housing stock.

Working with frontline operatives, call handlers and other colleagues, the service has had positive and excellent feedback from residents and key stakeholders.

This is a very big step for us as we continue our work on prioritising the delivery of excellent service which our residents deserve. 

Matthew Walker, Assistant Director of Commercial and New Business, said:
