Are you a resident of the Chaucer Estate? Here's your chance to directly connect with Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) and make a real difference in your community!
On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, SHP will be holding a Community Action Day on the Chaucer estate. This initiative, is about engaging with you, our residents, and providing a platform for you to report any outstanding issues or repairs you may have.
Our SHP teams will be on-site throughout the day, ready to tackle various tasks identified during our recent walkabouts. These Community Action Days are a vital part of our commitment to building an ongoing two-way conversation with our tenants and leaseholders across the borough.
This event on the Chaucer Estate is part of a broader six-month initiative, running from May to October 2025, which will see similar action days taking place across six estates.
A Community Walkabout is scheduled for 10:30 am. Please meet us at the centre of the estate, our gazebo will serve as the designated meeting point. This is an opportunity for you to walk alongside your Housing Manager and fellow residents to identify areas that could be improved. Your input is invaluable in helping us address concerns such as:

Minor estate improvements

Anti-social behaviour or crime-related issues

Highways concerns, including abandoned vehicles

Fly-tipping
Look out for our gazebo, which will serve as a central point for you to meet our team, ask questions, and report any concerns.
