Hate Crime Awareness Week 2025

A Hate Crime is any criminal offence that is motivated by hostility and prejudice towards a person’s identity or perceived identity. Anyone can be affected by Hate Crime. You don’t have to be a member of the group to which the hostility is targeted.

Hate Crime Awareness Week is taking place from 11 - 18 October. Come to one of the events to speak to our Community Safety Team about tackling hate crime and discuss your concerns:

Wednesday 15 October
Sutton High Street - look out for our stand

Thursday 16 October, 3-5pm
Westcroft Leisure Centre

Friday 17 October, 12-4pm
Bait ul Futuh Mosque in Morden
