Mill Green Estate Action Day
On Thursday 18 September, our teams held an Estate Action Day on Mill Green estate. SHP Repairs and Ground Maintenance teams worked together to complete a variety of improvements.
Repair teams addressed issues inside residents' homes to ensure they are safe and well-maintained, while the ground maintenance team trimmed overgrown trees, shrubs, and green spaces. The SHP gazebo was a hub of activity, with many residents stopping by to get their questions answered on the spot.
Later in the morning, at 10:30 a.m., Housing Manager Verity Cook led a community walkabout. Local councillors, MP Bobby Dean, and various SHP staff joined her. This gave residents an opportunity to point out areas for improvement, with some issues being resolved immediately and others scheduled for a later date.
