Notice of Change of Property Management Company

We are opening consultation with you over a proposed change in how your home is managed.

Your Landlord, MTD Housing Limited (MTD), as a provider of social housing has responsibility to manage your home. Currently the management of your home is delivered under contract by Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) for us. We propose to end this contract on 31 January 2026 and transfer management to MTDH Management Limited (MTDH).

Why are we considering this?

This change is part of our ongoing commitment to improve the quality of services and ensure a better experience for all our residents. MTDH are a new company supported by experienced staff, knowledgeable in all sectors of housing management, with streamlined systems to ensure fast and friendly responses to look after your homes and tenancy needs. We aim to improve quality, provide quicker responses and enhance our own property management oversight.

What does it mean for you?

As a resident of MTD, your landlord will remain the same and the conditions of your tenancy or lease will not change. You will have the same level of legal rights and protection that you have now, and there is no need for you to sign any new documents.

About this consultation

This consultation is in line with the regulatory standards issued by the Regulator of Social Housing. We want to hear your views and answer any questions you have before the board of MTD confirm the change and we will notify of the final decision before the end of this year.

How can you have your say?

We welcome your questions and feedback. The consultation period lasts until Wednesday 17 December 2025. We need your comments by then to take them into account.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this transition. We are confident that MTDH will continue to provide a high level of service and support to you.
