Being in debt to a loan shark is more than just a financial burden - it can be a terrifying, isolating, and emotionally draining experience. For many, it feels like being trapped in a nightmare with no way out. Vulnerable borrowers, who may already be struggling, can find themselves spiralling deeper - borrowing more to stay afloat and sinking further under the control of the loan shark exploiting them.

Sutton Housing Partnership thanks PC Maxine Clee for her recent insightful visit to our Independent Living scheme. PC Clee's talks focused on critical issues such as courier fraud and other prevalent scams, fostering vital discussions among our independent living residents.

Carshalton has welcomed back a familiar face as the vibrant sculpture of Anne Boleyn has been reinstated back to her prominent position overlooking Anne Boleyn’s Well and the Carshalton Ponds. After more than a decade away, the iconic artwork, originally created by late sculptor Dennis Huntley, is now  once again gracing the junction of North Street, Pound Street, and Church Hill.
