Reports of Unauthorised Doorstep Activity

We have been made aware of recent door-to-door activity by an organisation identifying itself as Aid4ummah.

Reports indicate that representatives from the group are visiting tenants to inquire about outstanding property repairs and maintenance issues that have not been addressed by landlords.

What you need to know

While the offer of help with housing repairs may seem beneficial, residents are encouraged to take caution before sharing personal details or allowing entry into their homes.

  • Always ask for official identification from anyone claiming to represent a charity or housing group

  • Be careful sharing tenancy agreements, contact details, or financial information

  • If you have outstanding repairs, please call our call centre on 020 8915 2000 or via email on repairs@suttonhousingpartnership.org.uk
