Programme Manager

Location: Sutton, Surrey

Salary: £54,695 to £63,181 based on skills

Full/Part Time: Full Time, 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed Term contract for two years

We are currently seeking a Programme Manager within the largest housing provider in London Borough of Sutton. You will embody our HOME values: High Performing, One Team, Make it Happen and Excellent Customer Service.

SHP has recently undertaken a review of its existing repairs and grounds maintenance services and upon completion of an options appraisal, SHP has taken the decision to insource both services.

Your role as Programme Manager will be to support the Board and Assistant Director Planning & Delivery with the Re-thinking Repairs Transformation Project, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the project runs effectively with appropriate governance
  • Project Planning to ensure that the plans outputs are delivered to time and to budget and that any risks or issues are identified in a timely manner and effectively managed

  • Ensure that the resources required to deliver the project are appropriately procured and in place to deliver the plan

  • Ensure that there is a clear project plan including clear scope, budget and resource plan and critical path outputs identified

People & Places Lead 

Location: Sutton, Surrey

Salary: £54,695 - £63,181 per annum

We need an ambitious and inspirational leader to join SHP to support our three year transformation programme; inspire colleagues with their passion for social housing and customer service excellence. The right candidate will have a proven track record of achievement at senior level in social housing, desirable to be a member of a relevant professional body such as Chartered Institute of Housing and will be able to forge strong collaborative relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes for our residents.

You will be passionate about excellent customer service and training and developing knowledge in others. You will be an excellent communicator, able to influence across the business and have the confidence and professionalism to work with people at all levels. With experience of operating at a senior level in a housing context, you’ll have experience of budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting and a good understanding of housing and landlord regulatory compliance requirements.

Major Works Surveyor

Location: Sutton

Salary: £38,128 - £43,285

Full/Part Time: Full Time (36 hours per week)

Contract Type: 6 to 12 months

We are currently seeking a Surveyor to manage and deliver a challenging range of fire remediation works. The right person for this role will:

  • Provide excellent front line customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and objectives are achieved. 
  • Undertake a full range of pre and post surveying services including project management, quality and cost control, for Fire related projects that form part of the capital and revenue investment programme.
  • Monitor performance and identify areas of non-compliance to requirements and implement remedial actions for improvement and ultimately ensure the project is delivered on time on budget with minimal disruption to the residents.

Quality Assurance Officer

Location: Sutton

Salary: £27,265 - £30,745

Full/Part Time: Full time (36 hours per week)

Contract Type: 6 to 12 months

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to act as the main point of contact for all our residents whilst we deliver a challenging range of fire remediation works. 

The right person for this role will :

  • Provide excellent front line customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and objectives are achieved. 

  • Have excellent communication and liaison skills, good organisational and problem solving ability. 

  • Be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and commitment to improving our services and developing strong relationships between residents and contractors though this project. 

  • Have a can do approach, be a person who is customer focussed, proactive and takes responsibility and a willingness to help our customers live successful lives.

DAHA Project Officer

Location: Sutton

Salary: £32,544 - £36,840 per annum

Full/Part Time: Full Time  (36 hours per week)

Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months

We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Officer who can lead on improving the local housing sectors response to domestic abuse. You will be required to have an understanding of the eight standards of accreditation and have the skills and knowledge to implement and embed changes to current working practices throughout the respective organisations .  We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with project management experience who has worked within housing, community safety, domestic abuse services and/or has worked with vulnerable adults.
