St Helier Job Club
The St Helier Job Club is an initiative that supports SHP residents into different paths of employment. The project is run in partnership with Sutton Housing Partnership, Community Action Sutton (opens in new window) and Matrix SCM (opens in new window).
If you’re looking for your next opportunity to increase your income with a stable job then the Job Club will provide you with guidance on how to search for jobs and become work-ready by helping you with CV writing, interview preparation, writing an application form and confidence building.
If you’re interested in how to plan for a job promotion or a career change, there will also be guidance on education and skills training and a session on volunteering your way into a new job.
Virtual sessions will be available for residents in a range of areas including:
- searching for work online
- updating your CV
- interview skills
- job applications
- apprenticeships
- work experience
- Kickstart Scheme.
